The book that started it all

 I felt I should also do a single post about the book that got me to start this project. The book is Sabres of Paradise by Lesley Blanch.



This is a superb and fascinating read, that is very well researched and I highly recommend it to anyone who has even a passing interest in what happened in the mid-nineteenth century the Caucasus. I bought my copy from Amazon.
